Omega 14K Gold Seamaster De Ville, ref. # LL6590-1
Wonderful gently pre-worn condition on this C-1966 Omega Seamaster De Ville in SOLID 14K GOLD. This one features an OUTSTANDING original finish dial. The finish is a frosted, straight grained pale champagne background with applied, wonderfully faceted gold hour markers. Matching original hands and applied Omega logos top it all off. Take a look at the dial photos to see all of the wonderful depth and texture. Again, ALL ORIGINAL.
The solid 14K case is in very good condition. It’s obvious this watch was well cared for throughout its life and has seen very little use. It measures 34mm across without the crown. The gold crown is a correct Seamaster crown for the period and is in wonderful condition.
The in-house Omega movement is the cal. 550 with 17 jewels and automatic winding. Serial number is 24 million. The watch has been fully serviced including a new mainspring, a correct Seamaster crown and of course, the correct (signed) Omega crystal. The case was very lightly polished (just to brighten up the gold finish) and then ultrasonically cleaned. We paired the watch with a top-of-the-line, France made Ostrich strap in a rich dark brown.
