Warranty

Service Work and Watch Purchases

All service work includes a one-year warranty on workmanship. This warranty covers the proper mechanical operation and timekeeping of any watch sold or serviced by us (unless otherwise stated). We will make good at no charge any defect in our workmanship. Please note: because of age and technology at the time, please do not expect a vintage timepiece to be as accurate as modern watches. We are not responsible for misuse, accidents, breakage of parts not repaired by us, or water damage. This warranty is void in the event the watch case is opened by anyone other than Pieces Of Time, LLC.

Please keep in mind that Water Resistance is a temporary condition. Damage or disruption to the crown, case tube, or crystal can compromise resistance to water. Others factors such as dust, temperature changes, cosmetic products, perspiration, and age will leave your watch vulnerable to moisture and possible damage. Most manufacturers suggest you have your watch tested once a year. We offer this service at a minimum charge.

How to Order

An addition to our e-commerce, you can contact us by phone or e-mail to place your order. Please include the item’s reference number, make, model, form of payment, telephone number, and mailing address when placing your order. Any questions regarding the watch you have selected can be answered at this time. We will respond to requests for reservation of a watch in the order received.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, wire transfer, USPS money order or cashier’s check. We do not accept COD orders. We will only ship to a confirmed address. Full payment must be received and verified before shipment.

We do not accept credit cards for purchases outside the United States. We will accept postal money orders or bank-to-bank wire transfers only. Our bank wire transfer information will be provided upon order confirmation.

Your purchase will be shipped promptly once payment has been verified. Our preferred method of shipping is via USPS for both domestic and international shipments.

Your watch will be packed safely and securely and all shipments are fully insured. Shipping and insurance costs vary according to destination and amount of purchase.

When mailing a watch for repair, return, sale or trade, please be sure to include your name, address, phone or e-mail address and a description of the repair or transaction.

Please call us with any questions you may have about the proper packing or shipping of your watch. We recommend that you ship by United Parcel Service or by United States Postal Service Registered Mail. You are responsible for arranging your own insurance coverage for your shipment.

We will contact you when we receive your watch.

Returns

As we want our customers to be completely satisfied, we have a 3-day unconditional return policy. Please contact us by the third business day after you receive the watch if for some reason you decide to return it. We will refund the full purchase price less shipping charges upon receipt and inspection of the watch. The watch and watch strap must be in the same, unworn condition as it was when received. Shipping charges are not refundable. The 3-day return policy does not apply to international sales.

Watches being returned for refund or service should be insured with signature required. The safe return of a watch is the customer’s responsibility.
