Rarely seen C-1944 Omega wristwatch in all original condition. This watch comes fully serviced. During service we installed a new mainspring and a correct style crystal. The crystal we installed is a low dome which is correct for this case. It makes for a very nice profile. We also replaced some of the screws with correct ones making this watch correct in every way.

It features the 30.T2 manual wind movement with sweep seconds and 16 jewels. Omega made many great movements, but the 30T2 is the most collectable of the early ones. The stainless steel snap back case is fully signed and measures 35 mm w/o the crown and 41. mm from lug tip to lug tip. The original finish on the dial is showing just a bit of aging and still looks great. Much better in person. The hands are also original including its blued steel sweep seconds hand.

We have just finished the servicing of this watch. Fully serviced including a new mainspring and crystal. It is running great and keeping good time. During service the case was ultrasonically cleaned only. We did no case work so it is just as we found it. It is in great shape given its age. It comes on a new Hirsch tan/brown Rally strap.

Just think about what the world was like when this watch was made, WWII was still happening. I think it makes it a rare piece and certainly more special.
