Omega 321 Seamaster Chronograph ref. #100.005-64 Item #3142

You just don’t see them this good! This 1964 Omega Seamaster Chronograph in Stainless Steel has been sitting in my collection for the past 17 years. Featuring the legendary Omega Caliber 321 chronograph movement with 17 jewels and manual winding, this Omega Chronograph is all original from its hands and dial finish to the crown and chronograph pushers. Nothing has been changed, altered, or “prettied up” in any way!

The stainless steel case measures 35.3 across without the crown or pushers, and 41.3mm from lug to lug. The case has a screw-on stainless steel case back (you can still read “Seamaster & Waterproof” on the case back) as well as its original, correct Omega Seamaster crown.

This watch has certainly been worn, and does show it, but good luck finding another that looks this nice AND is all original. Many of these wonderful vintage chronographs have been over-polished, dials refinished, or have had something swapped out or altered in some way. Not the case with this one. The case was polished at some point, but not for many years. No one has tried to make it look shiny and new. When serviced, we did clean the case only. We did a correct and proper service including a new mainspring. We also replaced the case back gasket, but please do not consider this wonderful vintage watch water resistant.

The off white/silver 3-register chronograph dial is also ALL ORIGINAL! Nice even patina throughout, you’ve got to love a vintage watch with character. It also features applied, faceted stainless steel and black bar markers and matching stainless steel hands, as well as an applied stainless steel Omega emblem at 12 o’clock. All are 100% original!

We paired the watch with a high-grade black leather strap. It comes just serviced and is keeping very good time. All of its chronograph functions (start, stop and flyback) are operating smoothly.

* Not sure how unusual this is, but this 321 movement is signed “adjusted Two 2 Positions”. I don’t remember seeing this stamp on a 321 before and we have sold and serviced 100s over the past 30 years.
