This is the finest Elgin Movement ever made. And it is 100 years old this year!<\/p>\n
This Railroad grade Veritas features 23 jewels and is adjusted to 5 positions. It is jeweled through the mainspring barrel. The movement looks great but has a few marks from age. The case is a very nice gold-filled Star Care Co. Railroad swing-out style. It is in very good condition and features a screw-on front bezel and glass crystal. It also features an early \u201cdust-proof\u201d as the pendent. Completing the watch is a perfect double sunk RR dial with a matching blue steel handset.<\/p>\n

This entails proper service of the movement, a new mainspring, and anything else that would be necessary to bring the watch into proper working order. Case cleaning and refinishing are also included.
