HEUER PASADENA DAY/DATE ref. 750.501- VERSION 2
Maybe the last of the true Heuer watches.
Any Heuer is a desirable and collectible timepiece. Finding one like this Pasadena in the original condition certainly fits the bill.
This Heuer Pasadena features a heavy-duty Stainless Steel case with black PVD coating. It has been used and there are signs of that wear on the case, but it’s a tool watch and that is what happens. It’s a good size measuring 40mm across without the crown and 44mm from lug to lug. With a screw-on case back, this Heuer is built like a tank.
The black 3-register dial is all original, as are the matching hands. Given that many of these Heuer sport watches have been through the ringer, a dial this nice (AND original) is exceptionally rare these days. The inner tachymeter bezel also looks great.
Under the dial is a true Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement with 17 jewels and quickset day and date. It comes recently serviced including a new glass crystal and is keeping excellent time. All of its chronograph features (start, stop, & flyback) operate smoothly, just as they should. It comes on a new thick leather sports straps and is ready to wear. Bonus: the watch comes with its original box and outer sleeve.
