Omega Seamaster Gold-Capped Automatic, C-1954
These gold capped cases are very special since the thick gold top is placed over the stainless steel case. This results in a far thicker gold layer than any gold plating and will last far longer. Plus the bezel is solid gold.
Outstanding is the only way to describe the condition of this 65 years old watch. When we received this watch the case looked like it had never been polished. Very minor signs of its long history history. All the case edges are sharp and the gold caps are in great condition. The watch is all original. Even the dial finish with its aging is original and hands are also untouched. The signed Omega “Cloverleaf” crown is the correct Seamaster style for the period and a new signed Omega crystal has been installed. The crown does have a small ding, but otherwise looks great so we kept it on the watch.
Fully serviced and ready to wear this Seamaster Omega (case ref. #2767) has a wonderful vintage look. Great looking wide-lug gold capped over stainless steel case (34 mm) with its correct signed crown. The movement is the famous cal. 354, 17 jewel with bumper automatic winding. These were built like tanks and even today, they are still very good timekeepers. The original finish dial has a matte finish and all the markers are gold applied including the Omega logo. The hands are original to the watch. This great looking, very collectable timepiece comes serviced and ready to wear. Complete with new brown Lizard strap.
