Rolex Stainless Steel Oyster Precision ref. #6426

A classic vintage Rolex in all original condition!

This C-1970 Men’s Rolex Oyster Precision is housed in a stainless steel Oyster case that measures 35mm across.  It also features a signed, screw-down Rolex crown and a smooth stainless steel bezel – both in very nice shape!  In fact, the entire watch is in wonderful condition given it is over 50 years old.

It features a wonderful original silver dial with a sunburst finish.  Accenting the dial are applied, faceted stainless steel bar markers and its original matching stainless steel hand set.  All in great original vintage condition.

The watch is powered by Rolex’s in-house caliber 1225 movement with 17 jewels.  This version features a micro-regulator, shockproofing, adjustable beat, and a higher beat rate for more accurate timekeeping.  This is the most advance version of the caliber 1225 Rolex produced.

It comes recently serviced (including all new gaskets and new crystal) and keeping very good time.  Along with service, we completed disassembled the case, refinished it to match its original appearance, and then ultrasonically cleaned it.  Once service was completed and the watch was reassembled and we preformed a water resistant test. It passed both and you can see the print out the last picture. Lastly, we installed a new Italian handmade (vintage look) leather strap as the finishing touch.
