Wonderful condition on this C-1987 Rolex Ladies Oyster Perpetual Date, ref. 69173.
Carefully used and well cared for would best describe its condition.
This Rolex features a wonderful gold Tapestry dial with applied gold faceted hour markers, matching gold hands. The dial and hands really play with light making them one of the more interesting combination Rolex has offered. The stainless steel Oyster case is in outstanding condition. The watch features a new sapphire crystal, an 18K gold Rolex crown, and an 18K gold fluted bezel. All in very good condition. Powering the watch is Rolex’s own in-house, chronometer grade cal. 2135 automatic movement with quick-set date and 29 jewels.
The watch comes on its original SS/18K Jubilee bracelet. It has been worn so there is some stretch, but it’s only minor. Far tighter than the vast majority of pre-owned bracelets out there. As for size, the bracelet will comfortably fit up to a 6 1/2 – inch wrist. Additional links are also available, if needed.
We have just completed a full service on the watch. Along with servicing the movement, the case and bracelet have been refinished to match their original appearance. Included with the service were all new gaskets, new mainspring, and a new sapphire crystal, and a new casetube. Once service was completed we run a pressure and vacuum test, which the watch passed ensuring the case is properly sealed. Please see the last picture and the printout will included with the watch. This type of complete service is a $850 value in our shop.
