On Hold until 11/29

This 1980’s men’s 18K Gold/Stainless Steel Datejust features an outstanding matte charcoal tapestry dial with a gold Roman numeral railroad style minute track. The gold bar markers have a grained finish with high polished angled ends and luminous contained in the centers of each marker. The tapestry dial design is one of Rolex’s nicest dial finishes, and you almost never see it in charcoal. We haven’t come across one of these in years!

The 18K Gold/Stainless Steel Oyster case features a fluted 18K bezel in very nice shape. The case is in very good condition, showing few signs of wear. The watch comes on its original matching 18K/SS Rolex Jubilee bracelet. It’s in wonderful condition with just a little stretch to it, far less than average! It will fit up to a 7 1/2” wrist.

The watch is powered by Rolex’s own chronometer grade caliber 3035 movement with 27 jewels, automatic winding, and quickset date. The movement has been serviced and is keeping very good time. While servicing the watch, we replaced all gaskets and installed a new casetube, as well as a new acrylic crystal. We completely disassembled the case and bracelet and refinished them to match their original appearance. Both the case and bracelet were ultrasonically cleaned. This one comes ready to wear and is ready for years of faithful service!
