Patek Philippe & Co. ref. #2589 18K Gold Item #3063 Price $9850

This C-1959 18K Gold Patek Philippe is a rare find and in wonderful untouched condition. It has been in a collection for many years and the gold case had tarnished so we hand polished it only! Never touched by a machine polisher. Please view the pictures carefully. The lug sides have a wonderful scalloped sides with very shape edges (just as when new). Also have a look of the picture of the crown. The Patek logo is very shape and well defined. The 18K gold case is fully signed and measures 33mm across without the crown. Please take a look at the last picture with it on my wrist. I am 5’9” and 160 lbs and it doesn’t look small on my wrist.

The original finish dial does show a bit of aging. It’s very minor and does not take away from the great classic look of the sliver background with gold bar markers. The matching gold baton style hands are also original and complete the classic look. The movement is a work-of-art. It is Patek’s own caliber 23-300 with manual winding and 18 jewels. It has been recently serviced and is running well and keeping good time. Marked adjusted to Heat, Cold, Isochronism, and Five (5) Positions. It’s also marked with the Geneva Seal.

A little snippet on the importance of this mark:
“Geneva Seal – made within the Geneva Canton. The Geneva Seal is the official seal of the City and Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.  The Geneva seal in watchmaking is a certification reserved for wristwatch movements made in the City (or Canton) of Geneva. Although it is concerned mainly with the finishing and decoration of the watch movement, it is considered one of the highest accolades in the industry.”

Now for the extras!
It comes on a new Black alligator strap of the highest quality. It is our best strap, and there are two (black and burgundy) “signed” Patel Philippe Lizard straps. One is lightly used and the other looks new. Also included is the original 18K gold signed PP buckle. A very nice addition for sure. Lastly, we added a genuine Patek Philippe leather factory service pouch. A nice place to store the watch when not being worn.
