Very good and all original condition on this 1966 Omega Seamaster De Ville (reference #166.020). It’s powered by a rare Omega caliber 552 movement with 24 jewels. The case is gold capped (solid gold over stainless steel), and measures 34.5mm across without the crown, and 40.5mm from lug tip to lug tip. It features a solid 14K gold bezel in very nice shape, as well as a signed stainless steel caseback with the signature Seamaster hippocampus. The signed gold crown is the “correct Seamaster” style. The acrylic crystal is genuine Omega and is signed. All are in excellent condition overall!
The watch also features an original finish silver dial that looks great with its faceted gold bar markers. They reflect the light nicely. The matching gold hands are also original. Both have aging as seen in the photos, but they are original and untouched. Just the way a vintage watch collector wants.
The watch comes fully serviced including a new mainspring and is keeping very good time. A brand new glossy brownish Lizard strap completes this outstanding vintage look.
