Here we have a Vintage, C-1958 Omega Constellation, ref. #2943.
Please take some time and really look at the pictures. We think you will agree, this watch was barely used and never polished. All the case surfaces, edges and angles are there, and all are nice and sharp. Just as when it came from the factory. It is really amazing to find a 64 year old watch this close to its original condition. The observatory medallion on the casebook is stunning. All 8 stars are there is their full detail. Also the engraving of “Waterproof” at 6 o’clock and “Constellation” at 12 o’clock look untouched. These engravings are pretty shallow so they can wear quickly. Not this watch.
The watch is powered by Omega’s in-house chronometer grade automatic movement, cal. 504 with 24 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. The dial’s finish is original and untouched. It does have aging, but still looks great and features applied hour markers. Also, all the printing is intact and looks great. The hand set is also original to the watch and still have their original luminous.
This watch comes fully restored. During the restoration, the movement was serviced and received a new mainspring and caseback gasket. The genuine signed crystal and Omega Constellation crown are both original to the watch.
We liked this Omega so much that we took one of our vintage Omega boxes and Omega signed buckle and will include them with the watch. We thought it deserved it. Lastly we installed a new Crocodile strap in a chestnut finish. It looks great with the watch.
