LeCoultre GF Memovox All Original C-1960’s
Here we have an All Original LeCoultre Memovox Alarm watch from the 1960’s. The gold filled case features a screw on caseback and straight lugs, all with wonderful original edges. Nice and sharp! The case measures 34.7mm across without the signed crowns, and 40mm from lug to lug. It’s accented with a wonderful untouched Champagne finish outer dial with a revolving Champagne finish with sunburst patten alarm disc at the center. Faceted gold steel markers and matching gold hands complete the look. These are all original to the watch.
Powering the watch is the LeCoultre Caliber K814 manual wind alarm movement with 17 jewels and two mainsprings. One for the watch movement and the other for the alarm. We’ve paired the watch with a genuine tan/brown Crocodile strap that really makes the dial pop.
The watch comes fully serviced and is keeping very good time. The alarm function is working just as it should. We ultrasonically cleaned the case, but no polishing or refinishing. All those nice sharp angles and edges look great and show very little wear so we decided to keep the case as found. Simply stunning!
