This all original, unpolished condition, this men’s JLC wristwatch features an in-house manual wind movement with outstanding quality. It’s doubtful you could have purchased a better made movement at the time. Original finish two-tone dial with silver center with off-white outer track and great hour markers. Incredible condition for being 70 years old. It shows just a bit of perfect  aging with slight patina to the finish so too does the original hand set. Every surface and angle on its stainless steel case is original, unpolished. It measures 34.5 mm w/o crown. The caseback is a two-piece design with the center piece sitting in place and the out steel ring is than screwed down sandwiching the caseback gasket between. This was an early waterproof design. Another interesting bit is the watch retains its original intergraded signed crown. You can see how well it fits into the case. To us it looks like an early crown guard design.

The watch comes fully and correctly serviced including a new mainspring and crystal. Lastly, we matched it to a genuine Ostrich strap. We think it looks Great!
