Jaeger LeCoultre Military Style, C-1940’s All Original! Item #3124

This 1940’s Jaeger LeCoultre wristwatch is in all original condition. Think about it, this watch is 80 years old and looks this good. It still retains its original finish dial showing little aging in the finish. Mostly to the original luminous which has darken over time. The sword hour and minute hands and sweep seconds hand are blued steel and also original to the watch. It features a stainless steel snap-back case that measures 33.3 mm w/o the crown. The signed manual wind movement is the in-house cal. P-478, with 17 jewels and their own early shock-proofing system for the balance wheel pivots. The movement has been fully serviced and a new mainspring, new crystal and new caseback gasket was installed at that time. During service we cleaned the case only and left the finish as found. It’s in great condition given its age and the finish looks original. Certainly a rare find. Comes on a new brown Lizard strap.
