Here is a Jaeger LeCoultre #855 Memovox Alarm watch from the 1950’s with the very desirable Big stainless steel case and original finish dial with date at 3:00. The two piece case is stainless steel with high polished tapered lugs. It’s a very nice size watch for the period too, measuring 36.8mm across without the crowns, and 45.7mm from lug to lug. The movement is the LeCoultre Caliber 825 bumper automatic alarm with 17 jewels. It’s topped with a professionally refinished black dial with a revolving silver alarm disc at the center. Faceted stainless steel markers and matching black and stainless steel hands, and a contrasting white date window at 3 o’clock complete this great look. We’ve paired the watch with a handmade leather strap in a rich brown with contrast stitching that really makes the dial pop. The watch comes fully serviced and is keeping very good time. The alarm function is working just as it should. Simply stunning!
