VERY RARELY SEEN IN 18K, ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION!!!

This 1950’s alarm watch by Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of LeCoultre’s earliest alarm models in SOLID 18K GOLD. Talk about a watch you don’t see every day! JLC Alarms/Memovox pieces are high collectable, and seldom seen in solid 18k Gold. The gorgeous high polished case measures 33.7mm across without the crowns and 40.3mm from lug tip to lug tip. A classic size and style that wears even bigger with the hefty gold bezel around the dial. Take a look at the very last photo for an idea of how it looks on the wrist. (For reference, I am 5ft 9in and 160lbs)

The dial(s) are all original, right down to their factory finish. It features applied, faceted gold arrow markers, and matching gold dauphine style hands. A navy blue arrow in the center disk marks the alarm time. The alarm sets with the top crown, and the watch winds and sets with the bottom crown. The gold case does show very minor signs of use. We think the condition is outstanding given it is around 60 years old. On your wrist it looks great! The angles on the lugs are still nice and sharp. And check out the great inscription on the case back! VERY COOL! The watch is powered by a Swiss made, JLC-signed caliber P489/1 alarm movement. It comes fully serviced and a new crystal has been installed. The case was ultrasonically cleaned and that is it. NO polishing or refinishing whatsoever. We paired the watch with a dark brown lizard strap that really makes the yellow gold pop.
