IWC 18K Rose Shark Fin lugs, Cal. 89. 37mm Item #3200
A rare find! This vintage IWC features the 17 jewel signed manual wind movement, caliber 89. A high grade Swiss made movement beautifully decorated with Geneva stripes. The watch comes fully serviced including a movement overhaul, new mainspring, and a new crystal. This cal. 89 is running great and keeping very good time. The original dial looks great and seems to be an older refinished. The dial work was extremely well done.
The 18K Rose Gold Case was lightly hand polished and is in outstanding condition. It’s a big watch for the period measuring 37 mm w/o the crown and 45.3 mm lug to lug. Pictures don’t do this one justice. Stunning look on this beautiful oversized 1950’s vintage (Classic) IWC with the high grade caliber 89 movement and gorgeous 18k gold case with “Shark Fin” lugs. Comes on a new reddish brown Crocodile strap that highlights the Rose case.
