Offering for sale is my Heuer Autavia GMT ref. #11630. C-1972. The watch is all original from its signed crown, to its dial and hands. Nothing has been altered. Not even the case finish. Even that is original as when it came from the factory in 1972.

Please take a moment and really look at the dial and hands. They are outstanding! There is just a bit of wear in the minute register. Everywhere else has nice even aging with slight patina. The hands are the best I’ve ever seen. The bidirectional bezel functions perfectly and the original insert looks great. It features that nice even aging that only comes with time. The stainless steel case is truly a hunk measuring 42.7 mm w/o crown, 47 mm Lug-to-Lug, and 15.0 mm thick. Please note that there are no signs of rust or corrosion on the case or caseback. Most aren’t that lucky. Maybe that’s why many dealers don’t show the case with the back off.

Under the dial is a signed heuer automatic chronograph movement. It is based on the cal. 11 and comes recently serviced and running as it should. All chronograph functions work properly and the watch keeps good time. I am including a “vintage style” dark grey leather strap and a signed Heuer buckle. It makes the watch complete.

This has been in my collection for a while now and getting worn about once every few weeks or so. As with most collectors, I collect in one direction for a while and then head off into another. That’s the only reason I’m selling this piece. Please take a look at the photos. We take great pride in them and try our best to show the actual condition of our watches. Should you have questions, please feel free to ask.
