Hamilton 6b RAF Pilot’s Watch Item #3143 Price $2450

In the mid-1960’s Hamilton began supplying the British military with watches and this Hamilton 6B was issued to the RAF. This particular watch is a wonderful, all original example and is in excellent overall pre-owned condition. It also maintains all of its original RAF marking.

The black dial and original handset look great with very little signs of aging except for some color change with the luminous. The original hands have patina to their luminous and are otherwise in great condition.

The 36mm stainless steel case and crown are untouched and shows far less than normal wear. Wonderful condition when considering this is an issued military timepiece. The lugs and strap bars are in good shape also.

The movement is a Hamilton Cal. S75 manual wind with 17 jewels. It is Swiss made and was just serviced and is running well. The movement is protected from magnetism by a Faraday cage comprising a soft iron movement ring, removable movement cover, and an anti-magnetism disc under the dial. This watch is very clean, and one of the best examples we ever seen.

The watch comes on a heavy duty leather Nato strap designed for fixed lug military watches.
