Here we offer an outstanding 1970’s Hamilton Chronograph G, ref. 640001 with its original bracelet. Very collectable, rarely seen (certainly in this condition) and can be found in the 1975 Hamilton catalog as part of their “Specialty Series”. The watch features a stainless steel case measuring just under 41m across w/o the crown and 42.5mm lug to lug. This is a manually wound chronograph with seconds, minute and hour recorders. The movement is the Hamilton’s ref. 640 based on the Valjoux 7736. It is Swiss made and features 17 jewels and shook-proofing. The watch also comes on its original signed Hamilton stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet will fit up to an 8” wrist. We have just gone through the movement and it is running well and keeping good time. All chronograph functions work smoothly, just as they should.

The truly outstanding thing about this watch is its condition. Never polished or touched up in any way. The dial, hands, case and bracelet are all just as they came from the factory back in the 70’. We just purchased from a long time collector and this piece had been in his collection for well over 25 years.
